After graduating, Bernie spent 6 years studying to be a priest with the Society of Jesus (Jesuits). At this time, he also obtained a Master\u2019s Degree in Philosophy from Loyola University of Chicago and a Master\u2019s Degree in Economics from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana<\/p>\n<p>In 1993, Bernie received his LL.B. degree from Queens University in 1993 and was called to the bar in 1995.
